In 2020, our co-founder Michael bought a Regency Bronze Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and The Man With The Golden Roller was born. Since then, Michael has added a Bentley Turbo R and a Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible to his garage.
An ex-car designer, passionate classic car collector, researcher and enthusiast, Michael has been active on social media since 2020 and is a Director of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club and a Club Member of Brooklands.
He is committed to securing the future of the classic car world by championing its community and the legacy of heritage vehicles through his writing, events and social channels.
In August 2025, with his friend, Isabel, an events specialist and our co-founder, The Man With The Golden Roller team planned and organised the world record-breaking Silver Shadow 60 Event at Brooklands, to much acclaim.
Having learned to drive a disintegrating Citroën Dyane and Massey Ferguson 135 on her family’s Herefordshire farm at the tender age of twelve, Isabel has always had a passion for driving.
In her twenties she crewed on the iconic Gumball 3000 driving (most legally) 3000 miles across the States, then in 2004 she did it again on the London to Ibiza Bullrun.
Excelling in event management and passionate about client experience, her career has taken her from silver-service to Silver Shadows – now being a regular driver of ‘Moneypenny’, Michael’s 1972 Rolls-Royce Corniche.
Isabel met fellow co-founder Michael in 2008. Over the last 16 years they’ve worked together, in the UK and across Europe, to create and execute some of the most unique and memorable brand experiences – such as for the 2012 Olympics, the Cannes Lions Festival and the Silver Shadow 60 Event.
Run by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.
